Annie, Erika, and Heather are Berry’s bff(s)! Berry is my beautiful plum bicycle. Of course, I've named my bicycle... are you surprised? Myself, Berry and the ladies of Au Revoir Simone pedal through the tree-lined streets of my hood. The track of choice is Through the Backyards. They’re oddly but greatly strategically arranged beeps, strums and ethereal mouth sounds on their Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation album (released in 2006 on their own self-titled label) make for good bike riding. Hello, portable MP3 player with speakers! (Yes, I am that cool.)
