Being an avid clubber back in the day, To the Floor beckons me for a visit to my yesteryears. If only I came across a DJ that has this track as part of their dance club arsenal. Do you know someone who plays Shrift at a club in the Bay Area... because I'd gladly make out with them in a second! Okay maybe not make out with them but I'd definitely give them an enthusiastic thumbs up! Dorky, yes. Overly excited about a song, yes. Shrift's album Lost in a Moment (released in 2007 on the Six Degrees label) needs more love. They are truly under rated therefore sadly underplayed. Play them... ASAP!
